Ariana Grande revealed the sweet way she honors her late grandmother Marjorie Grande.

During a Vogue Japan cover story interview published on Monday, Jan. 26, the pop star opened up about how she pays tribute to her Nonna, who died at the age of 99 last summer.

“I attempt to channel her strength always,” Grande, 32, tells the publication.

According to the Wicked star, the advice from Marjorie she always thinks of when she needs it most is “F— em!”

To keep her beloved grandmother close to her heart, she told Vogue Japan that she always carries two ChapSticks Marjorie would use with her.

“I always have a little bit of her with me,” said Grande.

In June 2025, Ariana’s mother Joan Grande announced Marjorie’s death in an Instagram Stories post.

“We are devastated to share that the beloved matriarch of our family has passed away. Marjorie (Nonna) Grande passed peacefully in her home and was surrounded by her family and loved ones for every moment of her last few weeks,” Joan, now 68, wrote at the time in a family statement.

She added, “We thank you for your love, support and for respecting our privacy as we grieve and celebrate her beautiful, extraordinary life.”

At the time, Joan also shared a black-and-white photo from Marjorie’s wedding to her late husband Frank, with the caption, “forever.”

Ariana’s brother Frankie Grande also shared a heartfelt Instagram tribute at the time, writing, “I love you endlessly, my sweet Nonna. I miss you more than words can hold. My heart is shattered, but I feel you watching over me, already so proud of everything I’ve done and all that is about to come.”

Over the years, Ariana has frequently spoken about her close bond with Marjorie, who joined her at several awards shows and was featured on her album Eternal Sunshine.

Marjorie became oldest artist to ever appear on the Billboard Hot 100 after her contribution to the song “Ordinary Things” at 98 landed the hit at No. 55 in April 2024.
