Brad Pitt, Pedro Pascal and Alexander Skarsgård have all worn these insane thigh-high leather boots

There are leather boots, then there are Saint Laurent’s leather boots.

Brad Pitt modeled the luxury label’s statement-making thigh-high style ($4,500) in a new spread for GQ’s Blockbuster Summer Issue, and he’s far from the first celebrity to step into the slouchy silhouette.

For his cover image, the “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” alum, 61, sported the statement-making shoes, which boast a buckle at the top, with a black leather Louis Vuitton jumpsuit, a ribbed beanie, and mustard-colored Handsome Stockholm gloves.

In another picture, the actor posed with his boots partially immersed in a body of water while also wearing a tight black Rick Owens shirt and Marant leather pants. 

Before Pitt’s photoshoot, Pedro Pascal and Alexander Skarsgård, two of Hollywood’s leading actors, have put their stamp on the Anthony Vaccarello-designed boots, too.

On March 24, the former wore the thigh-high boots on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of 
“The Last of Us” season 2.

The Hollywood heartthrob styled the shoes with coordinating black leather pants, punching up the ensemble with a green and blue plaid blazer and a periwinkle knit turtleneck.

Meanwhile, more recently, Skarsgård turned heads in the boots on the Cannes 2025 red carpet for the world premiere of “Eagles Of The Republic.”

The “Big Little Lies” actor steered the outfit in a dressy direction, elevating his footwear by way of a double-breasted black suiting jacket, white button-up and black tie.

“It was my first time at Cannes and I was very excited about it. I was there for ‘Pillion,’ a movie that is very special to me. I had such an amazing time working on it. It’s like a kinky gay biker, sub-dom story,” the actor told W Magazine.

“My character wears a lot of leather in the movie, so it just felt fitting to wear a little bit of leather on the carpet and to the premiere,” he added.
