Brianna Chickenfry insists Taylor Swift’s team is behind ‘Life of a Showgirl’ leaks
She did something bad.
Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia got eviscerated by Swifties via social media after insisting Taylor Swift’s team is behind recently “leaked” songs from her forthcoming “The Life of a Showgirl” album.
A social media user commented on a since-deleted TikTok on Tuesday to let the Barstool Sports personality know that “Tay wouldn’t want anyone to look at the” alleged leaks circulating online.
The fan explained, “Real Swifties stay away from the leaks!”
LaPaglia brushed off the backlash, replying, “Insider scoop from dating [a] musician, all leaks are from their team.”
It is unclear what the 26-year-old said in her initial video about song leaks to spark the back and forth.
LaPaglia, notably, dated country singer Zach Bryan from 2023 to 2024.
Post-breakup, she accused the Grammy winner, 29, of emotional abuse — and became a vocal Swiftie from having her “heart ripped out of [her] freaking bones.”
However, many Swifties made it clear via X that they still “hold a grudge” for LaPaglia’s initial dismissal of Swift’s music and slammed her for comparing the pop star to Bryan.
“I mean maybe ZACHS team did leaks so he’d stay relevant but he’s not thee Taylor swift, or even in the same ball park,” one fan tweeted Tuesday, with another joking, “It tracks for her ex to leak stuff about himself tbh.”
A third pointed out, “‘from dating a musician’ well her boyfriend isn’t taylor swift is it?”
Some Swifties defended LaPaglia’s claim, noting that “everything leaked except for” the 12th album’s cover — which the “Cruel Summer” singer kept blurred in her announcement.
One wrote, “It’s honestly true tho a lot of times labels do leak their stuff bc they want people’s reaction to it.”
Reps for Swift and LaPaglia did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
The songwriter sent fans spiraling when she revealed her next era in a preview clip of her boyfriend Travis Kelce‘s “New Heights” podcast.
The episode, which will mark Swift’s podcast debut, premieres Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET.
She and Kelce, who have been an item since 2023, bantered flirtatiously in Monday’s first look at the highly-anticipated interview.
The following day, the NFL player gushed over his girlfriend’s “mind-blowing” work ethic in a GQ profile — and broke down how their love story “took the f–k off.”
