BWTB’s Will Compton Is ‘Flabbergasted’ He Wasn’t Invited to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Wedding

“As I’ve been seeing these photos of everybody else at that wedding, I am pretty flabbergasted that we didn’t get the invite,” Compton added, noting further on X that it was a “tough phone call” to have while working out.

“Wake Up Barstool” host Dave Portnoy noted that “all of Tight End U” went to the Friday, July 3 nuptials — except for former NFL star Compton and his podcast cohost, Lewan, 34. (Tight End University is a three-day football camp hosted by Kelce, along with NFL stars George Kittle and Greg Olsen.)

Compton and Lewan were with Kelce recently, attending this year’s Tight End U, which took place in Nashville late last month. The podcasting duo also emcee the annual “Tight Ends & Friends” concert, which takes place during the weekend.

“For the last six years, they’ve just gotten bigger and bigger and bigger,” Lewan said about Tight End U during a recent episode of the “Bussin’ With the Boys” podcast. “I want to give a massive shout out to all these tight ends because they get there the day before. What do they do? They all go out, they have a good time, they cheers, they get after it a little bit — as all tight ends, football players, community, boys locker room should do.”

He continued, “They come out and they put on an absolute show for the 2,500 people that came in. It was free, sold out or whatever and filled up in, I think, less than a minute.”

Lewan praised Swift while discussing the concert, where she came out and surprised fans, singing alongside Lainey Wilson.

“The girl is incredible. What a performer,” he gushed. “It’s so cool that somebody who’s as successful as she is, as famous as she is, it seems, like she handles her business the correct way at all times.”

At one point, Lewan even discussed his 10-year-old friendship with Kelce.

“The guy has been the same dude since the day I’ve met him,” he said. “That is such a rare thing to have is a guy who has obviously achieved this insane level of stardom, but is still doing the same thing.”
