Jared Leto: The dark truth behind working with ‘horrible’ singer as he faces sexual misconduct allegations

Jared Leto is allegedly “horrible” to work with behind-the-scenes, according to a former colleague.

“He’s not a good guy. There’s no soul behind his eyes,” an insider who once toured with the Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman exclusively told Page Six on Wednesday, following the release of the explosive BBC documentary “Jared Leto: Hollywood’s Dark Secret.”

“He was a horrible vibe while working with him and he made people uncomfortable. It was really hard to talk to him, if he even tried to talk to us.”

The source alleged that Leto also had several extreme requests for his crew members, like asking assistants to “hold open doors and his cape” for him, tasks that one could easily do themselves.

“People who have known him for years have also said that he is very problematic with women,” the insider added. “Everyone in the music industry knows there was going to be a day of reckoning for him.”

Page Six has reached out to Leto’s rep for comment on the aforementioned claims.

Earlier Wednesday, Page Six reported that Leto, 54, was accused of sexual misconduct by 10 women who came forward with their stories in the new BBC documentary.

Four of the women — who used the pseudonyms “Clara,” “Alex,” “Isabel” and “Etta” — claimed the alleged incidents occurred between 2002 and 2016, when all of them were teenagers.

Leto vehemently denied all of the allegations made in the documentary in a statement to Page Six, calling the claims “absolutely and categorically false.”

“I have never sexually assaulted anyone in my entire life,” he added.

The “Jared Leto: Hollywood’s Dark Secret” documentary, released Wednesday, includes various shocking statements from the accusers, including a claim from “Isabel” that Leto allegedly assaulted her in a motel bathroom in 2002 when she was 17.

“Clara” alleged she had intercourse with Leto when she was 17, while “Alex” accused the Oscar winner of allegedly threatening to sexually assault her while they were in a hotel room in 2013.

“Etta” also spoke out in the documentary, claiming Leto allegedly groomed her when she was 16.

She claimed the “Suicide Squad” star made several explicit phone calls to her in 2014 before trying to get her to sign a non-disclosure agreement two years later, which she refused. The BBC reported that they reviewed the alleged NDA, along with other documents to support the allegations against Leto.

Six other women spoke out against Leto in the documentary, along with two unidentified men who worked alongside Thirty Seconds to Mars for years.

They claimed staff members were uncomfortable with Leto’s interactions with teenage girls, alleging the singer would often invite them backstage to his dressing room or to the house where he was recording.

The new BBC allegations come less than one year after Leto was accused of sexual impropriety by nine women in an Air Mail exposé. He “expressly denied” those claims at the time.
