‘Massively depressed’ Jenny Mollen gives a glimpse at how she’s ‘surviving’ amid Jason Biggs split

Jenny Mollen admitted she is “massively depressed” following her separation from husband Jason Biggs.

The actress took to Instagram Thursday to share a whimsical video of herself skipping through a grassy field barefoot, arms in the air.

“So we are clear, I am massively depressed,” she captioned the post. “This is just what surviving looks like.”

Mollen, 47, twirled around while playfully flirting with the camera in the clip, which was set to the 2009 Metric track, “Help I’m Alive.”

The “Girls” star received support from her followers, with one commenting, “You’ve got this! 🙌👏 No one knows what depression looks like. Hang in there mama. ❤️❤️.”

Another resonated with Mollen, writing, “Totally understand this post so hard.”

Mollen’s vulnerable post comes after Page Six confirmed that she and Biggs, 48, parted in May.

The ex’s rep told us that they remain on amicable terms and are determined to co-parent their sons, Lazlo, 8, and Sid, 12.

Shortly after news of their split broke, Mollen penned a message about struggling to feel “worthy and validated” in a Substack essay.

Explaining how she’s rushed through life since the age of 6, she said, “Everywhere I’ve ever been has felt a little temporary, like a waiting room I’m trapped in before an operation.”

Mollen admitted to not having lived in the moment when her sons were young, blaming it on being “young and ambitious, or maybe just middle-aged with ADHD.”

The “Kidnapping Caitlynn” star shared that her life’s “highest highs” were “pennies disappearing into a bottomless well,” admitting that she sought her next big life event to eventually make her feel “cured” or “worthy and validated.”

Despite calling it quits, Biggs and Mollen have continued to put on a united front, including in June when they were photographed out to dinner with their kids in New York City.

At the time, the former couple was seen walking with their arms linked.

Later that month, Mollen shared that her and the “American Pie” star’s relationship was “still romantic” during an appearance on the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast.

“We still love each other,” she said. “It’s just not, I don’t know, it’s a different type of romance. It’s, like, your best friend.” 

In the episode, Mollen also shared it was “surreal” and “bizarre” to be single, explaining, “We live in two different places, but we’re still tethered. We have kids. We still talk 18 times a day about everyone’s schedule and after school and holidays.”

Biggs and Mollen met while working on the 2007 Howard Deutch-directed film “My Best Friend’s Girl” before tying the knot in January 2008.
