Meghan Markle shares video with Prince Harry for viral 2016 trend
Meghan Markle jumped on the viral 2016 social media trend with a romantic video featuring Prince Harry.
The “As Ever” founder was seen in a black-and-white video clip dancing on an expansive lawn with her husband in an Instagram clip on Friday.
She went barefoot for the impromptu dance session, donning a casual pair of shorts with a white T-shirt.
The Duke of Sussex, meanwhile, wore a T-shirt and pants while leading his wife in the dance, which culminated in him lifting her as she wrapped her legs around his waist.
At one point, Harry, 41, lowered the mom of two into a dip as they danced in the sunshine.
She added Olivia Dean’s “So Easy (To Fall in Love)” as a soundtrack to the clip.
A second slide featured what appeared to be a throwback photo of the couple embracing in a pond, with Prince Harry wearing olive shorts and a shawl, and Markle wearing a turquoise wrap over a swimsuit.
“When 2026 feels just like 2016….you had to be there,” the Duchess of Sussex, 44, captioned the upload.
She added, “🎥 cred: our daughter,” referring to Princess Lilibet, 4.
The nostalgic social media post comes just days after royal author Christopher Andersen told Us Weekly that Prince Harry is “somewhat uneasy” in his high-profile life with the “Suits” alum.
The couple famously quit their duties as members of the royal family in 2020 and relocated to Montecito, Calif., to raise their family after welcoming Prince Archie, 6.
“He has suffered from crippling social anxiety,” Anderson told the outlet. In contrast, he claimed, “Meghan embraces that life more.”
While the author claimed Harry is “content” with his family life, he also alleged that the Duke of Sussex has moments of sorrow.
“Does it pain Harry to be pointedly excluded from times when the royal family gets together, like Christmas at Sandringham? Of course it does,” he said.
Anderson noted that Prince Harry must experience regret, as “Neither he nor his children are sharing in their royal heritage.”
A source claimed, however, that Harry — who married the former actress in 2018 — is happy to be away from the scrutiny of the British tabloids and his life as a royal.
“Harry is so happy living in the private world,” the insider shared with the outlet. “Even though he was raised [as a royal], he was never comfortable in that environment. He feels more like himself here.”
The “With Love, Meghan” host frequently highlights her ongoing romance with her husband as they continue to forge an independent path in the states.
In November, she shared a 2013 viral thirst trap video from his time in Afghanistan to mark Veterans Day.
Prior to that, in June, she paid tribute to Harry on Father’s Day, writing that he is “the best” dad to Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet and their “favorite guy.”
