Noah Cyrus is reminiscing about what might have been with Frankie Jonas.
Noah, 26, is the younger sister of Miley Cyrus while Frankie, 25, is the youngest brother of Joe, Nick, and Kevin Jonas.
In 2008, the two provided the English language dub voices for the Studio Ghibli film, Ponyo, also collaborating on the title theme song for the English version of the movie. Speaking to a commenter on a recent TikTok video, Noah said she was “in love” with young Frankie at the time.
The comment came in response to a user who commented on a Jan. 11 video, in which Noah and her best friend ride in the car while the Jonas Brothers’ song “Lovebug” plays on the stereo.
“Younger me thought Noah Cyrus and Frankie Jonas was gonna be the IT FUTURE couple,” wrote the commenter. “They even did Ponyo together as kids.”

Noah released her sophomore album, I Want My Loved Ones to Go With Me, in 2025, telling PEOPLE in a cover story at the time: “A lot of my career has been the journey of finding myself again.”
After struggling with addiction, she added, “Now I know my sense of self, and I know what I want to write about and who I want to connect to. I’m at a place in my life where I don’t think that people really know this part of who I am, because there have been so many different variations of myself ’cause I was just growing up, and I was changing. But I made it out on a really positive side of, I think, a really dark time that I was going through.”
The Grammy-nominated singer made the surprise announcement of her engagement to fashion designer Pinkus in June 2023.
Frankie, meanwhile, has also been open about his own struggles with addiction, and released his debut extended play Sewer Rat in June 2023.
