Prince Harry reveals his multiple occupations in candid new interview
Prince Harry wants everyone to know he’s a busy guy.
Speaking on the July 13 episode of the Joe Marler Will See You Now podcast, the royal introduced himself to host Joe Marler as “Henry Albert Charles David, Duke of Sussex” — “H” for short.
Marler went on to ask what his occupation is, to which Harry answered, “Full-time dad. British Army veteran. Prince of England. Duke. But for today, I don’t know. What do you want?”
The two eventually agreed on “Duke.”
He was then asked by Marler if he was also an “inventor” — referring to the Invictus Games, the sporting event which Harry started in 2014 to aid the rehabilitation of wounded, injured and sick military service members and veterans.
Harry noted that the term “founder” would be more appropriate in that case.
The episode was most likely filmed during Prince Harry’s recent trip to the UK.
The “Spare” author, 41, was in his home country to promote the 2027 Invictus Games, which will take place in Birmingham.
He initially traveled to the UK without his wife, Meghan Markle, or their two kids, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, after being denied taxpayer-funded security.
Harry’s rep also told Page Six last week that his invitation to stay at Buckingham Palace during his visit was “withdrawn at the last moment” after he “formally” accepted it.
However, Buckingham Palace confirmed that Harry and the “Suits” actress, 44, were actually able to reunite their family with King Charles III and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House on Friday.
It had been four years since Archie and Lilibet had seen the 77-year-old king — with the last time being at Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022.
Pictures of their meeting likely won’t be released to the public.
Harry kept busy while in the UK, wrapping up his visit with a final public appearance getting stepped on by goats during a playful yoga session during the Scotty’s Little Soldiers festivals in Warwickshire, about 80 miles northwest of London, on Saturday.
The outing — which saw a goat jump on the duke’s groin area — supported children who have lost a parent in the military service.
