Sarah Ferguson spotted for first time in 7 months after disappearing amid Jeffrey Epstein scandal
Sarah Ferguson was photographed in public for the first time in over seven months at a luxury ski resort in Austria.
The former Duchess of York, 66, kept her red hair tucked under a white baseball cap and wore a navy blue jacket and pants in pictures obtained by the Sun.
She wore glasses as she walked in what the outlet said was “a quiet Austrian ski village,” though the publication didn’t reveal her exact whereabouts.
“Fergie has been keeping an incredibly low profile while high up in the Alps,” a source told the outlet. “The area is absolutely beautiful and it’s very quiet most of the time, so it’s the perfect place for a high-profile figure such as her to lie low when the heat is on.”
Page Six has reached out to Ferguson’s rep for comment, but didn’t immediately hear back.
It’s the first sighting of the former royal since Sept, 16, 2025, when she attended Katharine, the Duchess of Kent’s funeral held at London’s Westminster Cathedral.
King Charles III and other senior members — including Prince William and Kate Middleton — were in attendance to pay their respects to the oldest member of the royal family at the time, who died at 92 years old.
Ferguson showed up alongside her ex-husband, former Prince Andrew.
Ferguson has kept a low profile after Andrew was arrested in February over his ties to the late Jeffrey
Epstein. He was arrested for allegedly forwarding confidential trade documents to Epstein, a convicted sex offender, though he’s denied it.
Sources told Page Six last month that Ferguson had been effectively homeless and camping out with friends since she and Andrew were forced to move out of their royal home in January.
The exes were evicted from the Royal Lodge mansion after King Charles’ decision to strip Andrew of all royal titles and serve him to surrender his lease due to his association with Epstein.
While we were told she’d been staying with friends, including Priscilla Presley, an insider said that some of her pals who would previously let her stay with them in New York now had reservations.
“Everyone’s telling her that now’s not a good time,” an insider said. “A lot of people actually really like her, but being associated with anyone associated with Epstein just isn’t wise right now.”
An insider also told us that Ferguson possibly staying with her youngest daughter, Princess Eugenie — who lives in New York — wasn’t a viable option.
“Now that Andrew has lost his royal title, the girls [Eugenie and older sister Beatrice] are the only members of the family who are real royals,” the insider said. “It’s more important than ever for them to be kept as far away from the scandal as possible.”
A month prior, the Daily Mail reported that Ferguson checked herself into the Paracelsus Recovery Clinic in Zurich amid the scandal.
Paracelsus Recovery Clinic focuses on mental health recovery and offers personalized, discreet care for those struggling with dependencies and addictions, eating disorders, and chronic conditions and disabilities.
The ultra-luxe rehab center reportedly costs over $17,500 a night.
