Taylor Swift and Dakota Johnson twin in Melinda Maria earrings in ‘Patient Zero’ video

This price tag doesn’t have many zeros in it.

In Taylor Swift’s new Patient Zero” music video — which premiered during tonight’s VMAs — she and Dakota Johnson twin in a series of matching outfits. And while we clocked pieces from brands like Khaite and Staud, we also couldn’t help but zero in on something much more affordable: Melinda Maria’s Hello Gorgeous Drop Earrings.

Johnson and Swift both paired the gorgeous $95 drops with Valentino dresses for a party scene, and you’d never know they weren’t actual precious stones.

Shoppers love them, as they’ve earned an impressive five-star average out of over 60 reviews. (One customer even said they’re “so shiny and sparkly that they totally look like real diamond earrings.”)

It’s not the first time Swift’s worn Melinda Maria jewelry, as she previously picked the luxe-looking Julian Loves Diamonds Necklace for a Kansas City Chiefs game in 2024. (After the outing, Maria told Page Six Style she couldn’t keep the “unique, blingy and cool-girl” design in stock.)

The pop star also wore Maria’s Gabriella Pavé Spiked Hoops to the premiere of “All Too Well: The Short Film” back in 2021.

“Her stylist, Joseph Cassell, has been such a huge supporter of Melinda Maria … and has put stuff on Taylor for so many years,” Maria told us in 2023, adding that the spike earrings were still “always [in] the top five best sellers” for years after the Swift sighting.

It’s a full circle moment, given the “Patient Zero” premiere came right after Swift accepted the VMAs’ first-ever Artist Director Honors — recognizing her work both behind and in front of the camera over the years.
