Tearful Cruz Beckham takes aim at ‘loneliest’ brother Brooklyn in new song
Cruz Beckham’s estrangement from Brooklyn Beckham appears to be taking a toll on him.
While performing at the Courtyard Theatre in London on Tuesday, the singer wiped away tears as he sang “Loneliest Boy,” his new track seemingly inspired by his relationship with his eldest brother.
“Loneliest boy, I hope that you’re listening,” Cruz, 21, sang to the crowd, which included his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, as seen in a video obtained by the Mirror. “Don’t push all your friends away, when we’re tryna show you love.”
He continued, “Loneliest boy, mama don’t talk too much / It’s breaking hеr heart / It shows in the small things that you don’t do / I guess in thе end that it’s you, yourself, and you / Tell me how do you live, when you’ve got nobody to lose?”
A rep for Brooklyn did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Cruz and Victoria have reportedly been in shambles over Brooklyn’s estrangement, especially after the aspiring chef issued a scathing statement in January saying he didn’t want to reconcile with his family.
“I do not want to reconcile with my family,” Brooklyn, 27, wrote via Instagram at the time, before addressing rumors that his wife, Nicola Peltz, was allegedly controlling him.
“I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life. For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family.”
At the time, Brooklyn stated that his parents “have been trying endlessly to ruin [his] relationship” with Peltz since before their 2022 nuptials.
Additionally, he alleged Victoria pulled out of making Peltz’s dress at the last minute and forced the actress to find a new one.
Brooklyn also claimed that the fashion designer hijacked his and the “Lola” star’s first dance.
While Victoria and David have yet to address the allegations against them, the couple and their family have continued to show their love and support for Brooklyn via social media and in public.
Earlier this month, the Spice Girl alum and the former athlete shared birthday tributes to Brooklyn on Instagram, with David captioning a photo dump, “We love you.”
As for Cruz, he wished his older brother a happy birthday while talking to reporters in Paris, France.
Brooklyn, meanwhile, left the Spice Girl alum out of a UK Mother’s Day post, labeling Nicola’s mom, Claudia Peltz, as “the best mother-in-law.”
