Where Ariana Biermann, Charlie Zakkour stand after ‘Next Gen NYC’ hookup
Ariana Biermann and Charlie Zakkour are taking some space from each other following their hookup.
“Next Gen NYC” star Shai Fruchter exclusively spoke to Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” about where his co-stars currently stand with each other.
“A lot has happened on the rest of the season [and] since filming,” Fruchter, 25, told co-hosts Danny Murphy and Evan Real.
“So much has happened that, one, it’s hard to keep track of, and two, it’s just so many mixed emotions coming in at once that when it’s that overwhelming, and [there’s] that much confusion, you kind of have to keep it a little cordial and separate for a bit.”
An inside source previously confirmed to Page Six that Biermann, 24, and Zakkour, 31, “hooked up” while filming the second season of “Next Gen NYC.”
“It did happen and the situation will play out in the second half of the season,” the insider elaborated.
Zakkour first expressed interest in Biermann in the debut season of “Next Gen NYC” while she was still in a relationship with Hudson McLeroy.
Biermann and McLeroy, 24, dated on and off for nearly a decade before calling it quits in October 2025.
While they rekindled their romance earlier this year, Biermann recently confirmed they had broken up again.
As for Zakkour, Biermann declared at BravoCon 2025 that she wouldn’t touch him with a “10-foot pole.”
But by the end of the weekend, Biermann had shockingly traded in her first-class plane ticket for a spot in economy next to the crypto trader.
Zakkour wasn’t the only one actively pursuing Biermann following her breakup with McLeroy, however. “Next Gen NYC” newbie Liam Obergfoll had also taken her on several dates and introduced her to his family while filming Season 2.
With both Zakkour and McLeroy seemingly out of the picture, Obergfoll recently shared the latest update in his relationship with Biermann.
“We’re talking. We’re just talking,” Obergfoll told Page Six. “[We’re] having fun, but keeping it casual.”
“Next Gen NYC” airs Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo, with new episodes available to stream the next day on Peacock.
