Joy Behar throws shade at new ‘Bachelorette’ Taylor Frankie Paul

Joy Behar shaded “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Taylor Frankie Paul’s untraditional “Bachelorette” casting by poking fun at her for having “two baby daddies.”
“So will these bachelors line up to be baby daddy No. 3?” Behar joked on Friday’s episode of “The View.”
“Isn’t that the whole point of the show? To find your lover and get married?” Behar, 82, added. “But, she’s got a little bit of baggage.”
Behar’s comments come after the roundtable played a clip from the Hulu reality star’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast interview where she discussed her co-parenting concerns.
Paul, 31, is mom to three children, whom she welcomed with two different men. She shares daughter Indy May, 8, and son Ocean Paul, 5, with her ex-husband, Tate Paul.
She most recently welcomed a son, Ever True, 17 months, whom she shares with her ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen.
Panelist Alyssa Farah Griffin also expressed her “very conflicted” feelings on the casting due to Paul’s “colorful” past as a social media influencer and reality star from a different franchise.
“My mom was texting me, had strong feelings about it,” Griffin shared with her View co-hosts. “It’s always been someone within the ‘Bachelor’ franchise. … This is someone outside the franchise.”
She went on, “I don’t judge women for having kids with different men. She’s had actually a pretty challenging life and you get a glimpse into her family if you watched ‘Mormon Wives.’ It’s tough. They navigate a very restrictive religion. She’s stepped out of the faith and now is trying to find herself.”
Still, Griffin predicted Paul’s season will be “excellent” because of the reality TV star’s “super authentic and extremely chaotic” nature.
Fellow co-host Sarah Haines also noted that the casting is “A-level synergy” between ABC and Hulu after Paul’s “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” cast members Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt were cast on “Dancing With the Stars” Season 34.
A rep for Paul didn’t immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Paul rose to fame as the creator of #MomTok, the social group that inspired the “Mormon Wives” series.
She made headlines in 2022 when she admitted that she and her husband were involved in a “soft-swinging” sex scandal with fellow Mormon couples.
Her co-stars, however, have denied participating in the scandal.
