‘Dawson’s Creek’ alums Joshua Jackson and Katie Holmes have a sweet reunion in NYC

Joshua Jackson and Katie Holmes had a heartwarming reunion Tuesday in New York City.

The former “Dawson’s Creek” co-stars — who also briefly dated in real life — attended the gala screening for “Brunello: The Gracious Visionary” held at the David Koch Theatre at Lincoln Center.

Jackson and Holmes, both 47, posed for pics together on the red carpet, clearly enjoying one another’s company as they laughed and flashed big smiles at one another.

Jackson looked sharp in a burgundy blazer, gray slacks and a black bowtie, while Holmes was effortlessly stylish in a white blouse unbuttoned to show off her left shoulder, which she tucked into a glittery, floor-length gray skirt.

Holmes styled her wavy brunette bob in a side part to complete her chic look.

Holmes and Jackson starred in the CW’s iconic series “Dawson’s Creek,” with their characters — Joey Potter (Holmes) and Pacey Witter (Jackson) — ending up together by the end of the series.

They also dated in real life in 1998 while filming the show, though the relationship fizzled out after a year.

The duo has gotten cozy multiple times in recent years, including while shooting scenes for the film “Happy Hours,” and at the “Dawson’s Creek” reunion held at New York City’s Richard Rodgers Theatre.in September 2025.

Sadly, they mourned the death of their “Dawson’s Creek” co-star James Van Der Beek in February. The actor died after a battle with colorectal cancer.

He was 48 years old.

Holmes posted a handwritten note to Van Der Beek after news of his death broke, sharing, “I am so grateful to have shared in a piece of James’ journey. He is beloved.”

Meanwhile, Jackson spoke about Van Der Beek’s death during his appearance on the “Today” show last month.

“For me as a father now, the enormity of that tragedy for his family hits me in a very different way than just as a colleague. So I think the process is ongoing,” he said, referring to Van Der Beek’s six children with wife Kimberly.

Jackson, who is a dad to his daughter Juno, went on to call his friend’s passing an “enormous” loss.
