Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson get cozy during ‘Dawson’s Creek’ reunion
Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson proved their chemistry is alive and well at Monday’s “Dawson’s Creek” reunion — more than two decades in the making.
The former co-stars cozied up to each other after performing a read-through of the six-season series’ first episode at New York City’s Richard Rodgers Theatre.
Holmes and Jackson, who respectively played Joey Potter and Pacey Witter, held hands as they joined their fellow cast members on stage to close out the event.
In multiple fan videos, the duo stood side-by-side for the curtain call — with the actress, 46, at one point leaning her head on Jackson’s shoulder.
The “Affair” alum, in turn, rested his head on hers.
After Jackson took his bow in front of cheering attendees, Holmes — who had been clapping excitedly herself — reached out for a high five.
The Broadway star was “giddy like a schoolgirl,” one fan claimed via X.
Another tweeted, “How Joshua Jackson and Katie Holmes never sailed off in to the sunset is wild. Pretty sure they invented chemistry.”
An Instagram user gushed that the pair “understood the assignment.”
Proceeds from the event benefited F Cancer, as well as James Van Der Beek’s colorectal cancer treatment.
The 48-year-old, who played Dawson Leery, was “gutted” to miss the event amid health struggles.
Holmes and Jackson reunited earlier this year to film the “Happy Hours” film trilogy in the Big Apple.
The “First Daughter” star, who is writing, directing and starring in the project, was all smiles in photographs taken during the August shoot.
The onscreen love interests briefly dated in 1998 while filming “Dawson’s Creek.”
Holmes went on to marry Tom Cruise, with whom she welcomed now-19-year-old daughter Suri, and later dated Jamie Foxx and Bobby Wooten III.
Jackson, for his part, co-parents daughter Juno, 5, with his ex-wife, Jodie Turner-Smith.
He and Holmes have maintained a “very close” friendship over the years, Jackson revealed on the “Dinner’s On Me” podcast earlier this year.
“It’s not a daily call,” the “Little Fires Everywhere” star clarified in the April interview. “Sometimes it’s not a weekly or monthly or even a half-yearly call.”
