‘Love Is Blind’ star Chelsea Griffin addresses Kwame Appiah split rumors
“Love Is Blind” alum Chelsea Griffin shut down rumors that she and husband Kwame Appiah split.
On Wednesday, the pediatric speech-language pathologist took to her Instagram Stories to share a photo of her, her husband and their dog enjoying the 66-degree weather on their patio.
“Enjoying the bonus patio. Sitting in what was once a pile of dirt & wood chips,” she wrote atop the photo.
Appiah then reposted the image to his Story.
Rumors recently surfaced that the couple called it quits after Griffin was spotted without her wedding ring in a carousel of recent Instagram photos.
Additionally, fans claimed Griffin dropped her husband’s last name from her Instagram profile and went back to her maiden name. (Page Six could not verify this allegation.)
However, Griffin still has “wife” in her Instagram bio.
Page Six has reached out to Appiah and Griffin for comment but did not immediately hear back.
The couple met sight unseen on Season 4 of Netflix’s hit dating show “Love Is Blind,” which premiered in 2023.
They fell in love and made it all the way to the altar, where they both said “I do” in May 2022. The couple now resides together in Seattle.
While celebrating their second anniversary in 2024, Appiah told People that he and Griffin “feel really special and really happy and really accomplished about the moment.”
Several other couples from Season 4 of “Love Is Blind” are still married, Zack Goytowski and Bliss Poureetezadi — who are currently expecting their second baby — and Tiffany Pennywell and Brett Brown.
