Savannah Guthrie walks first red carpet since mom Nancy’s disappearance

Savannah Guthrie made her first red carpet appearance since her mom Nancy’s shocking disappearance in February.

The journalist put on a brave face as she attended the US Open Exhibition Match event in New York on Tuesday.

Savannah flashed a smile to the cameras as she stunned in a black floral dress and heels.

She was was joined by her longtime husband, Michael Feldman, for the outing. 

It’s been six months since Nancy was first reported missing from her home in the Catalina Foothills in Tucson, Arizona, on Feb. 1.

Earlier this month, Page Six exclusively reported that the Pima County Sheriff’s Office, who is in charge of the investigation, has made no progress in the case.

Sources close to the investigation told us they are “shocked and disturbed” by the lack of progress made by Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos and his team.

“Stop the childish finger-pointing,” a source said. “There’s a killer on the loose. They need to focus their resources on finding that person rather than bickering.”  

On Aug. 1, the “Today” co-anchor made an emotional public plea as her family, including her siblings, Camron and Annie, marked six months since their mom vanished.

“Today marks six months since our beautiful mom was taken from us,” Savannah said in her heartbreaking Instagram message, describing the milestone as one no family should ever have to endure.

Addressing those responsible for Nancy’s disappearance directly, the NBC star, 54, begged them to “do the right thing” and reveal where her mom is.

“If you know anything — anything at all — please come forward,” Guthrie urged, noting that tips can be submitted anonymously and reminding the public that a reward remains available for information that helps solve the case.

The day prior to her plea, authorities released the full contents of the alleged ransom notes that were sent to Arizona outlet KOLD-13 on Feb. 2 and Feb. 6.

The first letter claimed that Nancy was still alive and demanded $4 million in bitcoin in order to get her back safely.

The second letter, however, claimed Nancy, 84, had passed.

The FBI previously released shocking home security camera photos of a masked and armed person outside Nancy’s home on the night of her disappearance.

Despite the disturbing evidence, Savannah has made it clear her family refuses to stop searching.

She also urged anyone who may recognize details in the ransom notes to contact investigators immediately.

Law enforcement officials, alongside the FBI, continue to investigate and are asking anyone with information to come forward.

A combined reward exceeding $1 million remains available for information that leads to answers in the case.
