Tori Spelling addresses exit from ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ rewatch podcast with Jennie Garth

Tori Spelling isn’t ready to “speak [her] truth” on her abrupt exit from the “9021OMG” podcast.

The actress addressed her headline-making exit from her and co-star Jennie Garth’s “Beverly Hills, 90210” rewatch show during an Instagram Live with their former co-star Brian Austin Green on Thursday.

Spelling told social media users she wants to break her silence “in a thoughtful way, rather than being reactive.”

The former reality star co-signed Green’s statement that she “needed a little time … to sort of gather [her] thoughts.”

Spelling, 53, confirmed her plans “to really take the time to really assess, really reflect” before sharing further details on her step back.

When Spelling was asked if she’d ever return to the podcast, Green, also 53, noted that “it’s so tough” to navigate these situations since you “never want to say never.” Spelling, herself, didn’t answer the question directly.

Instead, she agreed, urging viewers to “please, please keep watching Jennie and Amy [Sugarman]” as they continue the podcast, which is currently covering Season 8 of the beloved teen drama.

“They are doing it and bringing on tons of fun hosts,” Spelling shared of the “amazing” show, which launched in 2020.

“We love you!” she added.

Reps for Garth and Spelling did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.

Spelling broke the news of her exit in a Live with Green in July, saying she planned to pursue other projects.

Garth, 54, called the update “sad” in last week’s episode — but clarified she is “really happy for [Spelling] … to choose herself.”

Sugarman chimed in, “This was 100 percent her decision. And look, two things can be true: we can be really bummed and disappointed that she’s not going to do Seasons 9 and 10 with us, with you, while still wanting her to be happy and to be excited for her about the things she’s working on and does want to do.”

A source told Page Six at the time that there was “no falling out” between Spelling and Garth, who respectively played Donna Martin and Kelly Taylor on “Beverly Hills, 90210” from 1990 to 2000, and it’s 2008 spinoff, “90210.” They later played heightened versions of themselves in the “BH90210” revival series in 2019.

However, another insider claimed the longtime friendship has unraveled due to Garth allegedly being “completely unresponsive and not there for Tori” during “her many hospital visits and divorce” from Dean McDermott.

We hear “Jennie has tried to box Tori out of everything involving iHeart and the podcast,” allegedly treating Spelling “like a liability.”
