Charli xcx Wears Bridal White to Hit the Beach with Husband George Daniel After Their 2nd Wedding in Italy

Charli xcx and George Daniel are floating in newlywed bliss.

The singer, 33, was spotted on a beach off the coast of Scopello in Sicily, Italy, with her new husband. The pair wed on July 19 in a private wedding ceremony in London, and held a larger celebration with friends and family in Sicily this past weekend.

The couple’s post-wedding beach outing saw Charli donning a white, deep-V neck one-piece bathing suit, plus a sheer white cape cover-up and her signature chunky black sunglasses. The 1975 drummer wore short neutral swim trunks as the pair took a dip in the Tyrrhenian Sea.

The couple recently hosted a second wedding celebration with their friends and family, including Daniel’s bandmates Ross MacDonald, Adam Hann and Matty Healy, plus artists beabadoobee and Clairo. Photos from the nuptials saw the couple exchanging their wedding rings, gleefully walking back up the aisle and greeting their guests.

The ceremony followed a lineup of pre-wedding festivities, per Charli’s Instagram, including Sicilian sightseeing and drinking on a night out.

Charli and Daniel’s second ceremony comes less than two months after they legally tied the knot in London. The pair wed at Hackney Town Hall on July 19 with a small group of loved ones in attendance.

For the first ceremony, Charli wore a ruched, off-the-shoulder midi dress with a veil of the same length. She opted for a breezier look for the second celebration, forgoing a veil and wearing a long, semi-sheer sheath gown.

The newlyweds initially connected in 2021 when Daniel produced Charli’s single “Spinning,” and they confirmed their relationship in 2022. Daniel later popped the question in November 2023.

Charli shared the news online through a series of giddy engagement photos, including a selfie of her holding up her diamond ring-clad hand, snaps of the couple in an embrace and a glimpse of the proposal itself: a tray of tea with a small box, holding the ring. The singer confirmed their engagement, writing in the caption, “charli xcx and george daniel f—ing for life!!!”
