Howard Stern makes rare appearance after bombshell lawsuit with ex-assistant

Howard Stern made a rare public appearance out in the Hamptons on Wednesday night after his ex-assistant’s bombshell lawsuit against him.

The comedian resurfaced with his longtime wife, Beth Stern as they attended John Mayer’s SiriusXM performance at Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, New York.

Andy Cohen and Brooke Shields were also among the A-listers at the event.

In footage obtained by Page Six, Howard and Beth put on a united front, walking in hand-in-hand into the venue and smiling at photographers.

For the outing, Howard kept it casual in a navy button up and black pants. Beth stunned in a white tank top and skirt paired with a brown YSL cross-body purse.

Beth also shared a selfie of her and her husband smiling at the concert via Instagram that night.

“I’m in love,” she captioned the post with a red heart emoji.

Howard’s last public appearance was a year ago when he and Beth attended the launch of the “Maximum Metallica” channel on SiriusXM at Stephen Talkhouse on August 28, 2025.

The duo’s night out comes months after they were both being sued by their former assistant Leslie Kuhn for allegedly creating a hostile work environment.

Kuhn started working with the former “America’s Got Talent” host in 2022 as an office manager for his Sirius XM show, “The Howard Stern Show.” She worked her way up to become his executive assistant, but was terminated earlier this year.

Kuhn filed the lawsuit in April, detailing the “immense pressure” of managing Howard and Beth’s Southampton home, as well as helping the latter run an “extensive at-home feline rescue and fostering operations.” 

She also claimed Howard’s production company, One Twelve, presented her with a nondisclosure agreement that she denies ever signing. Kuhn claimed that both the reasons she was fired and the NDA were “manufactured by the Defendants in general and Beth Stern in particular.”

Weeks later, Howard, 72, filed to dismiss his ex-assistant’s lawsuit against himself and Beth for $2.5 million in damages.

He dubbed the lawsuit a “shakedown” and “transparent sham,” in court documents obtained by Page Six.

“The Sterns are entitled to enforce non-disclosure agreements signed by employees who enter their home and their private life,” his lawyer told us at the time.

Last month, Howard and Beth, 54, scored a legal victory when a judge ruled against Kuhn’s allegations that the radio host’s production company had forged NDAs with her name.

However, Howard found himself in more hot water after he laid off around a dozen staffers from his SiriusXM show last month, as Page Six exclusively reported.

Many of his former employees are reportedly now fighting for more severance.
