Miley Cyrus’ mom, Tish, hints singer married Maxx Morando

Miley Cyrus’ mom, Tish Cyrus, sparked marriage speculation at her daughter’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony after calling Maxx Morando her “husband.”

According to the Daily Mail, the “Flowers” hitmaker — who became engaged to the Liily rock band drummer in late 2025 — was posing for photos at the event with her mother and sister Brandi Cyrus, when Tish declared, “We’re gonna bring the husband.”

Morando, 27, then posed next to the “Hannah Montana” alum, 33, for photos — and, at one point, Morando kissed Miley’s cheek.

A rep for the Grammy winning songstress did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment on Friday evening.

The couple met on a blind date, the singer revealed during a May 2023 interview with Vogue. “Well, it was blind for me and not really for him,” she said.

The couple soft launched their romance in November 2021, as Miley posed alongside him at a Gucci event in an Instagram carousel.

A month later, they got cozy at “Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party” in Miami, where the former Disney Channel star was seen dancing with Morando backstage during commercial breaks.

An insider told Us Weekly in March 2022 that the duo was in a “new” relationship and they had “been spending a lot of time together.”

They confirmed their romance when they were seen passionately kissing in April 2022 in West Hollywood, Los Angeles. Per E! News, a source later said the relationship was becoming “very serious.”

After the “Malibu” songstress shouted out Morando at the 2024 Grammy Awards, referring to Morando as her “love,” a source told People that they’d taken things to the next level and were living together.

Page Six confirmed the couple’s engagement in December 2025, after the “Wrecking Ball” hitmaker sparked engagement rumors by wearing a diamond ring at the “Avatar: Fire and Ash” premiere in Los Angeles on December 1.

Miley told “Good Morning America” just days later that things were going exceptionally well.

“Me and Maxx have been together for four years and it’s very obvious the drastic amount of growth I’ve had in those four years,” she said.

“You just want to dream the biggest you can and you want to have someone by your side that always tells you you can do it.”

Miley was previously married to “The Hunger Games” actor Liam Hemsworth. The pair split in 2019, just months after their December 2018 nuptials.
