Rob Lowe Name Drops His Best On-Screen Kiss Without Any Hesitation: ‘Have a Look at Her’

Rob Lowe isn’t afraid to kiss and enthusiastically tell.

During his Sunday, September 27, appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Lowe, 62, played Cohen’s “Plead the Fifth” game when he was asked to name his most “greatest on-camera kiss.”

“I told you I was not going to plead the fifth,” Lowe said. “It’s Nastassja Kinski.”

Lowe and Kinski, now 65, starred in the 1984 dramedy The Hotel New Hampshire alongside Jodie Foster and Beau Bridges.

Cohen, 58, then asked Lowe about what made his experience with Kinski so memorable.

“Have a look at her,” the actor gushed. “At that moment in time, she was probably the most beautiful woman I’d certainly ever seen.”

Lowe confessed that he was initially intimidated to kiss Kinski. “I was, like, very, very scared,” he recalled.

Lowe has had several memorable on-screen love interests over the years, including Demi Moore, Rashida Jones, Kim Cattrall, Calista Flockhart, Meg Tilly and more.

The actor previously revealed that he and Moore “briefly had a thing” in the ‘80s.

“Look, anytime you put young 20-something men and women together, hookups are inevitable,” Lowe said during a 2024 appearance on Kelly Ripa’s “Let’s Talk Off Camera” podcast. “And I don’t think that has changed.”

While things didn’t work out with Moore, the Parks and Recreation alum found his one true love with wife Sheryl Lowe. The couple were set up on a blind date in 1983. While things for the pair didn’t pan out at the time, they reconnected on the set of his film Bad Influence in 1990. They tied the knot the following year. Rob and Sheryl welcomed sons Matthew and John in 1993 and 1995, respectively.

“We’ve known each other for well over 30 years, and the number of times where she has helped me make better decisions than I would’ve made on my own is innumerable,” Rob said in a September 2018 interview with Men’s Journal.

Sheryl, for her part, spoke about her and Rob’s successful marriage during an October 2025 episode of her husband’s “Literally” podcast.

“In my relationship, I don’t take for granted that you know what I’m feeling. You know what I mean by what I say. I really am careful to communicate,” Sheryl explained at the time. “I always think it’s really helpful for me when you look at me and you hear me and you’re in the moment, you’re present so I know I’m being seen and heard.”
