Armie Hammer and Reagan Newman call it quits after fling

Armie Hammer’s romance with Reagan Newman fizzled out fast.

The disgraced actor and social media strategist sparked dating rumors when they were photographed kissing at Pace restaurant in the Hollywood Hills in mid-June. A source told Page Six at the time that they met through their mutual stylist friend, and had been on multiple dates in only a few weeks. 

But now we are hearing it’s over before it even really began. 

“They cooled it down,” says a source. “It was mutual. It was really hot, really fast and they both had to put the brakes on it. There was no drama.” 

The source further explained, “He needs to focus on his career and she needs to focus on hers.” 

A rep for Newman tells us, “They are still really good friends on good terms.” A rep for Hammer did not respond to request for comment.

Newman — whose LinkedIn lists her as as a fashion stylist, social media strategist, luxury fashion coordinator, photo director, influencer and fit model for luxury brands — doesn’t seem to be taking a break from dating, however.

The redhead has been posting herself getting ready for dates on her TikTok. Last week she posted about going on a second date. When a commenter asked her,  “Are you dating Armie Hammer,” she responded “No mama.”

Though maybe it is all work? This week she posted herself getting ready for a date at Sunset Tower that was a paid ad for dating app Bumble.

Meanwhile, Hammer has been trying to make a comeback. He is currently starring in a controversial movie called “Citizen Vigilante,” in which his character goes on a gory killing spree against immigrants.

The “Call Me By Your Name,” star was dropped by his agent and subsequently lost film roles amid the swirl of sexual misconduct allegations made against him — including that he allegedly sent disturbing text messages about BDSM and cannibalistic fantasies — in 2021.

The Los Angeles county district attorney’s office announced in 2023 it would not pursue any case against him in regards to a rape allegation brought against him by one woman. 

Hammer’s attorney previously told Page Six that his client “maintained that all of his interactions with [Effie] — and every other sexual partner of his, for that matter — have been completely consensual, discussed and agreed upon in advance, and mutually participatory.” 

Hammer currently has a podcast called “The Armie HammerTime Podcast,” and he appeared in the 2025 movie “Frontier Crucible.”

He was reportedly engaged to a woman named Marina Gris in October 2023, but they split by January 2024. Hammer was previously married to Elizabeth Chambers. They announced their split in July 2020.
