Dak Prescott breaks silence on split from ex Sarah Jane Ramos over alleged infidelity
Dak Prescott finally addressed his and ex Sarah Jane Ramos ending their engagement in March, mere weeks before their Italy wedding.
“There were a lot of false narratives out there on both of our sides,” the NFL player said of the split in a Dallas Morning News interview Thursday.
The athlete, 33, called the breakup “an unfortunate situation for obviously everybody” — and, “more importantly, the kids.”
He and Ramos, notably, welcomed daughters Margaret Jane “MJ,” 2, and Aurora, 1, before calling it quits over alleged “infidelity issues.”
Prescott continued, “For me, it’s just about making sure I’m there in every which way for them.”
The former couple revealed their breakup in an email to wedding guests, informing their loved ones of the “difficult decision” not to tie the knot in Lake Como in April as planned.
Ramos, 32, broke her silence in March, putting the “rumor to rest” via Instagram that their relationship ended over a prenuptial agreement.
She has yet to speak on Page Six’s reporting that Prescott had an “ongoing” problem of allegedly used incognito social media profiles to send inappropriate messages to multiple women and ex-flings.
A source told us Ramos issued her then-fiancé a desperate ultimatum in January.
In May, Prescott made headlines for cozying up to Caitlin Rance, who was supposed to be one of Ramos’ bridesmaids.
We heard from multiple eyewitnesses that the Dallas Cowboys star held hands with Rance at the PBR World Finals, with the pair allegedly all over each other and acting like a couple.
Rance subsequently clarified via Instagram Stories that she is “single,” insisting, “I have a very active Raya profile. And we’re just here to have a good time.”
Meanwhile, Prescott and Ramos have maintained an amicable co-parenting dynamic — and reunited in May for their youngest daughter’s 1st birthday party.
Before the duo’s scheduled court date to hash out custody issues, they reached a temporary custody agreement.
Ramos was “very happy” with the result, her lawyer told Page Six in April, adding, “She firmly believes that working together as parents is very important and will have long-term benefits for the girls.”
Prescott’s attorney called the agreement “a positive step forward [that] reflects the commitment Dak has to raising their daughters in a healthy, supportive environment.”
He and Ramos started dating in September 2023, welcoming MJ and Aurora in February 2024 and May 2025, respectively.
The quarterback popped the question in October 2024.
